I recently stumbled on an old photo of mine and i looked so trim and fit in it. That was the reality check for me, I just knew straight away that i needed to loose weight and i just did not want to be big anymore. Currently i am 5ft 7 and i am 224 pounds. That is just huge for me. My goal is to be 170 pounds. That is loosing about 54 pounds. I dont want to do it the fast and unhealthy way with fad diets so i have decided to do more exercise and eat healthy.
Things i am doing currently include
1. Exercising 3 times a week at the gym. (an hour each session)
2. No more red meat, more of fish and sea food
3. More salads. I eat a salad with every meal
4. Squeezing half a lemon in hot water and drinking it with my main meal of the day
My target is to be to loose between 10 to 12 pounds a month. Here is my starting pic as i am starting afresh even though i have been doing this for about 3 weeks and i would post progress pics each month with an update on weight lost.
